For the avoidance of doubt, please note that each time you access this Website (for whatever reason), you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms. Telephone number: Use of Website To be eligible to purchase goods on this Website you hereby represent and warrant that you will: • be the holder of a valid debit/credit card and; • be 18 years of age or older. Further, you hereby represent and warrant that the personal information, which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to that information (including your e-mail address) by contacting us at info@italianartanddesign or calling us on We do not permit the following: • Any other person sharing your user name and password; or • Access through a single name and password being made available to multiple users on a network; or • Impersonation of any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use. You are responsible for all use of the Website made by you and for preventing unauthorised use of your user name and password. If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your user name and password, please notify us immediately. Without limiting our other remedies, we may immediately issue a warning, suspend or terminate your use or access to this Website and refuse to provide our services to you without notice to you: (a) if you breach any of these Terms or warranties or any documents incorporated by reference or; (b) if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information that you provide to us during the course of any applicable registration or; (c) if we believe that your actions may cause legal liability for you, our users (registered or otherwise) or us. Placing an Order You can make on-line payments through Paypal. You do not need an account set up to pay through Paypal. We also accept bank transfers. Orders are processed during daytime business hours, Monday through Friday 9.00 am to 6:00 pm. Weekend, bank holiday, national holiday and evening orders are processed the following business day. You place your order by clicking on the submit order button at the end of the on-line order process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website. Once you have placed your order, we will send to you an acknowledgement email detailing the Goods that you have ordered, a payment reference and the value of your order which will be debited from your credit/debit card through PayPal. Unless we have notified you that we are not able to accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the Returns Procedures set out below, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place at the time and date that we notify you by e-mail that we have despatched the Goods ordered by you. The deemed time and date of receipt by you shall apply regardless of whether, for reasons outside our control, you have not received that email. You will be sent a VAT invoice together with the Goods ordered. If you are sending a gift, the invoice will be sent separately to you address. Non-acceptance of an order may be as a result of one of the following: - The product you ordered being unavailable from stock or, - Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment or, - The identification of a pricing or product description error or, -You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in these Terms. If we are unable to fulfil your order following our order acknowledgement (i.e. in relation to any non-acceptance of an order), we will contact you by email or telephone to advise you of this as soon as possible. You will be given a full refund of what you have paid in relation to any such non-fulfilled order. Gift Wrapping: We offer a gift wrapping service online at an extra charge of € 5,00 regardless of size of product(s). The colour and style of our gift-wrap is at our discretion and can change at any time without prior notice. If you need advice on choosing a gift, or you would like to suggest a gift for us to stock on our Website, we would be delighted to hear from you by either calling us on Sending direct to gift recipient: The postage and packing charge includes 1 delivery, either to you or your recipient. Payment You may pay for the items which you order online through PayPal by supplying your credit/debit card details on the secure online order form. We regret that we cannot accept cheques, gift vouchers or cash as payment online.
We also accept bank transfers. In this case, please contact us for bank account details. Payment is due in full prior to dispatch of goods. If you would prefer to order by telephone or just need some help with ordering please feel free to contact us on Currency The default currency on our site is Euro (€). We offer currency conversion in US Dollar, Sterling or Euro. The currency conversion is given as an indication of the price in your chosen currency. The actual amount depends upon international currency rates on the day. All transactions are conducted in Euro and billed to your account at the appropriate conversion rate. Prices The prices on this website are published on the basis of costs at the time of issue and are subject to alteration without prior notice. All prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Cancellation & Returns We are sure you will be delighted with your order. If, however, you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase or if the purchased items are damaged in transit, we will be happy to accept a return for a full refund or exchange, within 7 days of delivery (21 days for addresses outside Italy). Please ensure that any item you have purchased is returned to us in its original condition, unworn, unused and in its original packaging. Simply contact us in advance and we will guide you through the appropriate steps to take before sending the goods back to us. Upon receipt of the returned item we will either issue a refund, an exchange or a credit note. Where a refund is issued, we aim to make the refund within thirty days. Refunds will be made in the same form as the original payment. Goods on special offer or given free as part of a promotion cannot be exchanged or refunded. Limitation as to Damages Italian Art & Design of Paola Devescovi shall not in any way be responsible for any personal injury or damage to property howsoever caused. Description of Goods We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Site are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system. However, although we aim to keep the Site as up to date as possible, we do not warrant that product descriptions, colours or other content available on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. We try to include as much information as we feel necessary for you to make an informed choice. The colours on your screen and any product descriptions should be used as a guide only. All dimensions are approximate. We have the right to periodically alter the content of our website and the prices of our products on the website. We may remove products from our website at any time.
